Professional knowledge is no longer just a major basic condition but part of a set of requirements, which includes many other skills such as teamwork, communication, creativity, expressiveness, and more.

 

The Lab is The Garage Program for helping students and graduates gain meaningful employment in the arts. The Lab runs workshops for graduates to gain key skills to help them find work. Seminar topics include job hunting, building a resume, interview techniques, and more.

The Garage Music Project enables musicians to work together and produce a first-rate quality recording of their music in a professional studio.

Scholarship Fund,  Scholarships are given to help students in need to complete their studies. Scholarships are awarded based on a commitment to the program and financial means. Scholarships are only granted following a careful selection process.

The New Garage Campus owing to the incredible impact the Garage is having on young vulnerable artists, the organization has been awarded a building for its use in South Tel-Aviv by the Tel Aviv Jaffa Municipality. The new building needs major renovation work and is scheduled to be open and ready for use by Garage staff and students in October 2021.

The Garage Employment Scheme (GES)  is a new program of The Garage and is due to be piloted in 2022 once the new campus is opened.

The scheme ensures that Garage graduates receive emotional support whilst being employed by businesses supervised by Garage professionals using the facilities of the Garage. GES increases the possibility of Garage graduates to be financially independent by providing them with the first opportunity to use their artistic skills in the workplace.

Tomer enrolled in the one-year music program after battling with mental health issues for many years. Tomer successfully graduated from the Garage and continued onto Higher Education. Today he is a music teacher for children with special needs and continues to be part of the Garage Community.
